GT1554 Steering Problem

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and have a wired issue with my steering. I have a 2006 GT1554 and its been having some steering problems for while. My front tires when I move forward, seem to bow outward. Each tire pointing outward (right tire pointing to the right and left tire pointing to the left) and when I back up they do the opposite going inward. I've replace the ball joints and spindles and difference. Any suggestions or help would be great!!!! http://www.onlycubcadets.net/forum/i...lies/bash2.gif

I suppose nobody answered because there really wasn't enough info to diagnose. My tires also had toe out and I adjusted them at lunch today. Simply jack up the front of the mower and move each tire left to right and see where the play exists. Mine had play in 3 different places resulting in much movement.

First, the wheel bearings are a little worn, but the play is minimal and can wait for now.

2nd, the tires had toe out instead of the specified 1/8" toe in. I adjusted this at the tie rod ends.

3rd, there is a cross member that allows the tires to move up and down as you traverse hills. Mine was a little loose allowing for front to back movement.

4th, I have power steering and the hydralic cylinder was loose allowing movement every time the wheel changes direction.

After all of this was fixed, wheel movement is minimal. You just have to look at one thing at a time.
