paint

Went to local Tractor Supply over the weekend to pick up some rattle can paint for my 122. I am preping rear wheel weights. They no longer have the factory match sprays. I need a new source for touch up paint, any suggestions?

I get my rattle can paint at my local Case IH dealer. They have the right colors for your cub. Its called Iron Guard and you wont be sorry for spending the money for this paint! Its well worth it IMO!

TSC paint was never a 'factory match' for a 122 anyway...their yellow is for the newer 2000 series and cyclops models, and the 'IH white' is pretty close to what was used on the 82 series.

PFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTT Tractor Supply Paint....

Do it right and get some Iron guard stuff from Case. It matches better and is waaaaaaaaaay better.

I want to say because of copyright reasons. I happen to get my paint at the cubcadet dealer. It does cost. I did however, buy some JD colors Valsplar Restore rattle can, and this paint has held up pretty good for 2 years now. A can of Cub Cadet Yellow should pull you through for wheelweights, about 18.00 a can.

If your going rattle can, use the cub stuff.

The cub cadet paint is a bit off color,IMO. the IH iron guard is some nice stuff. as a side note, if your painting white mix a little green in the paint, it tones it down to look more original like the 901 white
