1872 backhoe

Hey all,

This is my first post. I have been reading and learning a lot here. I decided it was time to show you guys my recently completed project. I picked up a nice 1872 a few months back. I had to spend some time and money on the leaking steering column. After that was fixed, I swapped the Kwik-Way loader I had on my 782 to the 1872 (wow power steering is nice). Then, I decided that the loader looked awfully lonely, so i picked up a 3 point backhoe. I had to fab up a frame to attach to the loader sub-frame and made up another frame to attach to the tractor frame. A few nuts, bolts, and hoses later it was up and running. I still have a few loose ends to tie up but it digs. I'll post back with updated pix soon. Hope you guys like it.

Does your 1872 have a rear PTO?

no rear PTO, im using the hydraulic pump from the Kwik-Way loader. it runs off the front PTO. i run the engine just above an idle.

would any one know what the dry weight of the 1872 is?
