K301 oil filter ?

O.K. once again I'm showing my ignorance and newness at this, but does the Kohler K301 posses an oil filter. If so where and what is the Napa / Wix equivalent?
I looked this thing over this morning top to bottom and the only filter I spotted was on the transmission.
