Special Stamp Date on 129 Cowl
 

I was unloading a 129 to my barn and happened to notice a special stamped date (May 17 1973) on the inside of the cowl, behind the fuel tank, as seen in the picture. Has anyone else noticed a date like this stamped somewhere on their cowl of the same or similar model?

That's pretty cool. I've never noticed a date before, but then again, I haven't been looking either. I'll have to check a couple of mine tomorrow and see what's up. Thanks for posting the pic.

Yes I have seen one on the underside of the dash tower stamped onto the fiberglass...

My 128 has the same stamping on the bottom of the fiberglass dash. Needless to say that part won't get painted.

My rims had the date stamped on them when I painted them. I painted around that part, pretty cool!
