Hey guys anyone know the correct amount of foot pounds to torque the head bolts to on a kohler k301 engine i am replacing the head gasket on my 124 thanks

Make shure you use the right torque sequence, or it will blow again.

You have to torque them down in sequence.

Here's a diagram for the K301. I usually tighten them snug and torque them down in sequence.

Don't forget to run about 15 min. then allow to cool down and then retorque.

And in case you don't know, run it up to operating temp maybe even 2 times, let it cool and re torque or it will leak.
