Has anyone put round fenders on a 1x4/5 series tractor ?

72 fenders on a 104
Maybe I should rephrase this ; Has anyone put 72 round fenders on a square fendered 104 ? Is the 72 frame the same as a 104? I realize there will probably be issues with the footrests . Any thoughts anyone? Thanks, Chris

round fenders
oh yeah, they are cool. Are the round fenders expensive 'cuz they are so rare/so few ? To me it looks like the seat pan, fenders, and sprung seat from a 72 would work. I see the shifter cutout on a 72 is different , but it looks like it could work. Anyone else ever thought of this? Chris

round fenders
they are not rare but expensive mine cost $225 with out reflectors from ebay i bought reflectors seperately shipping was like $32 so it was like $257 dollars they would work if you make brackets or drill holes etc.

Why not just buy a 72? :bigthink:
I think it could be done, but it would look goofy with the high tunnel that is on the 104's. |
goofy look
Shultzie, had not thought of the high tunnel. Point taken . I'd love to have a 72 one day. The round fender cub cadets have really grown on me. I sure don't want to be the guy with the goofy tractor, lol. Chris
