Timing mark on a k321a
I have a k321a, and need to static time the motor. The problem is I cannot find any timing hole or marks on the flywheel. I have pulled the shroud and still can't find a mark. Is there another way to do this on a 14 horse?:bigthink:

I had the same issue where I could not find my timing mark either. The mark is lightly stamped into the edge of the flywheel and is most likely covered by rust and dirt. I had to clean up the edge of the flywheel with a wire brush to see it. Once I did find it I painted the mark with a white paint to see it easier, it also works great with a timing light now as well

Had to pull the fan shroud and flywheel to find it. Thanks

This is how I clean up my marks.I took a small round piece of wood and put a piece of 200 grit sand paper on the end of it.I started the engine and inserted it in the hole to the point of VERY LIGHT contact with the flywheel. After a few revolutions it was clean.I then marked it with a small paint brush.Still good to this day!!!!!!!!!
