Solenoid

Someone may know, a 12V solenoid is a 12V solenoid, the connection should be the only diff. so an old Ford basic one should work on my 149? anyone confirm.

As far as I know Yes, the only difference is that Ford had a 3 termnal one and a 4 termnal one, but the 4 always worked in place of a 3. I can't see why an IH one would be any different than anything else.

The solenoid from an early 90's Ford Explorer or something like that is a bolt-in replacement...it's a generic "fits Ford" one at my local farm store for like $8 or something like that.
