S/G Pulley doesn't line up w/engine pulley
Hi,
I have a 127 that I put a S/G from a 149 on. The S/G lines up about 1/2" rearward of the engine pulley. This causes the belt to come off after it starts. Do I need to get a 127 specific s/g? I want to sell the 127, so any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim |

Those S/G should be the same length. The mounting ears are about a 1/2" thick. Do you have the rear mounting tab inside the bracket and the front outside of the bracket? Don B. |
Hold the old and new S/G's side by side to see if they are the same. Check the S/G pulleys to make sure they are the same.
Then check the pulley and basket on the crank to see if it is loose or too far out on the crank. It should be really close to the 9/16" bolt head on the front of the engine that holds the upper S/G Bracket. |
How about some pictures...???
