engine trouble

ok i have a cub 100 bought it in a pile.. put it back together and it fired rate up..now when u give in gas it acts like its under a load let it back and runs great at low rpm ...need help

Check the condition of the points, then check the gap.

Your explanation of how the engine runs indicates the ignition is retarded, which is controlled by the points gap.
