147 steering column
 

I was mowing today and all the sudden the steering shaft came out of the column. So i have been doing some research and i cant find any columns that fit did the 147 have a specific column that only fit it.

Thanks for any help i have to get this thing fixed asap.

Hi John,probably be just as easy to rebuild it,I would suspect the cam follower broke or more likely completely worn out. Heres a link to rebuilding it,parts are available through the sponsors of OCC. Hope this helps out some.

if you dont get it fixed in a week or two, let me know, i got a 128 that i will be parting out. you can shoot me a PM. right now i am recovering from surgery. i sliced my tendon, nerve, and muscle in my arm and i`m down for a while and its still in the tractor and i know the wife wont take it out. LOL jeff
