NF Mower Undercarriage

all the pined together areas had to much slop in them. 45 years has them wore out.
I found some spacers to fill the gaps. 1/2" id 5/8" od
I drilled all the holes , put the bushings and rods back in it. it worked really good.

this one I only drilled as deep as the spacers is long , 1.5" so it wouldnt slide out.

drilled 5/8" hole in both. I cleaned up the rod so it would go threw the spacers, it was tight, so I put the rod in the freezer in the house for 1/2 hr. the cold will shrink the rod enough to get it in. I slid the rod in and in seconds I couldnt move it without tapping it with a hammer.

tacked it in so it would not slide out.
