Educate me please, which models are Super Cubs?
Please educate me concerning this nice looking Super Cubs. Thanks :)
|
I can partially answer this question. I have an 1872 super. My manual covers the 1872 and 2072 same tractor with kohler m18 or m20 hp motor. I know there are more models. What seperates the supers are they are longer in the mid section, have 26x12 rear tires, power steering, front hydro ports. Some other gts have some of these options as well. The accessories for the supers such as snowblower and blade are HD items made by Haban as well as an avail Haban 60" comercial mowing deck.
I'm sure there are others here that can fill in these answers better than I. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w...20019Small.jpg |
are the 1535 and 1860 Super Cubs?
|
Keith. the 1860 and the 1535 are both standard GT's. The Supers were: 982, 984, 986, 1912, 1914, 1572, 1772, 1872, 2082, 2084, 2086, 2284, 1782, 1882, 2182. I might have missed one or two, but that is pretty close.

thanks AJ,
so from what squatch says "What seperates the supers are they are longer in the mid section, have 26x12 rear tires, power steering, front hydro ports." The Super has a longer frame then along with the other things listed? |

You are correct. My 1882 is roughly 78.5" long also the front tires are 18 x 8.5. In the picture you may be able to see the increase in length between the seat and the pedestal. In the background you can see the 1862 and a shorter distance between the seat and pedestal.

Not all supers had power steering. Earlier ones had manual steering. All supers have the longer frame and larger tires. All are also hydros.

Is a 1811 the model right below the Super Cubs?
|
Not sure what you mean by "below"...it's not a super.
