127 and #1a tiller
I have a question for those of you who may know. I really don't wanna lift that tiller by hand, even with the spring assist. I was wondering how the electric lift will handle the tiller? I've heard from 2 different people that an electric lift with a tiller is a bad idea. Is this true? Or, would it be okay to use? I think the electric lift with spring assist would help lifting the tiller. The tiller has both extensions so its pretty heavy. Any help would be appreciated.

It should work fine. My uncle bought a 147 brand new from the factory with electric lift and sleeve hitch with a Brinly plow and it has worked fine.

1278 w/ tiller
I tilled garden plots for years with my 127 and 1a tiller first I strong armed the lift .... then saved for the hydro lift ... went with the hydro lift just because a few of my buddies informed me that the electric lifts we a little slow ... but that being said the electric lifts are a great idea and were a great accessory to the tractor... I used the 127 and hydro lift for 5 years on 40 plus gardens a year ...hydro lift more than paid for it self...
