ID'ing via SN K241A

I searched but didn't find a secret decoder ring for Kohler engines. I've got a K241A on the bench being spritzed with PBblaster. While I'm waiting, can anyone decode the following engine SN

4347492

Thanks!
John

Go to Kohler's website and download the service manual...it'll tell you what you want to know.

Yep...

... thanks Matt. Looks to be a 1972. Going to be my first Kohler rebuild

Matt what service manual are you referring too? I have a 108 that I think has the same engine and would like to learn how to service it.

Go to the Technical Library Section for all the Kohler Manuals.
