1450 hydro upgrade question
Picked up a complete front output setup tonight to add to my 1450. With it came the tower and also the directional lever.
My question is do I need to swap the whole tower and directional control lever when I switch the valve and add the second handle? |
You should be able to just swap the lever over to your existing tower.
|
Ok . I didn't study it , but the only difference I can possibly think of is the bushing that the lever/ levers go through on the right side of the tower / pedestal may be a bit bigger on the duals .
I need to replace the iso mounts , so when I pull the engine to put in the upgraded cradle and new mounts and cast iron oil pan , seems to be a good time to do the hydro upgrade also. |
Alot easier putting in your lines to the front too when the engine is out.
|
That reminds me, I need to locate a picture of where exactly I have to punch through to exit them.
And have to decide if I want to "t" off that aux side and run a set of outputs to the rear in the event I ever want to use something that would hook up off the back. |
I can get you measurements and a picture if you want.
Let me know. |
If you wouldn't mind.
|
I will get picture and measurements tomorrow for you when I get off work.
|
That would be great , thanks.

Here's a pic but no measurements.:bash2:
