Continuing a tradition of collecting strays nobody else with any sense would want, I'll go pick up this hacked up 100 tomorrow. You GOTTA love that generator mount! Well... it was very ....cheap! :-) Anyone understand the hole in the tin on the side of the engine? |
That hole was for the air intank on AQS engines in quiteline cubs.
|
The hole in the engine tin tell me the flywheel cover is from a Quiet Line engine.
|
Some nice goodies on there
|
I see two generators, what's up with that?
My 72 had one mounted like that, prolly turns clockwise... Nice grab from the scrapper. |
Thats interesting....
Never saw a generator like that. Thats true ethiopian engineering as they say.
Good luck with it, they are truly fun to work on. Dave in SW Missouri |
There's definitely been some shadetree work on this thing.
I'm a sucker for a mutt...which this certainly is! Apparently there's a deck with it too. Will put some pix up tomorrow when I get it home. Did I mention it was cheap? :-) |
Great for you John, I would have done the same as you did! :High5:
