Brakes locked on a Model 1250?

Okay I will show how this look when I got it a few days a go but here's the problem. The Brakes look like they are all the way up. It didn't look like they have any thing to do with the Hydro Tran.

Are they part of the hydro?

Are they locked up? :bigthink:

Its standing up on the rear end right in the last two photos.
Motor out. Dropping in a 14 I have rebuilt sitting here.
Parts ordered
plastic hydro fan
Hydro Filter
Hydro fluid
New fuel lines
Paint.

Jack up both rear wheels, then turn one. If it doesn't turn the brakes are locked.

NO.....they are Disc Brakes.

There is a linkage rod from the brake rockbar to the hydro plates on the right side of the hydro that pulls the hydro back to neutral when the brakes are depressed. You may want to check that.

I figured it out. Its rusted to the point it wont move. Im going to a friends house to get help taking the pins out and breaking it free. I will start on the 149 for now.

I put text in the pic to show the spots that are stuck.
