Another toy for the BRS

I found a disc set with hydraulic lift on CL up near Dayton. I went up today and picked it up. It is about 4 1/2 feet wide. The tires are hard rubber and I won't have to worry about flats and the wheel mount with 5 lugs. The tongue is adjustable up and down also. He used it with a 3240, but only had turf tires with chains. He said traction was his biggest issue. In the pictures below the rear discs have been removed from the frame and are strapped to the front. Once it quits snowing and warms up some I will get it off of the trailer and assembled and then will get a pic of it with the BRS. I will have to order the rear hydraulic line set from Xtreme and I will be set to go. Looking forward some plowing this spring. I can't let Todd have "ALL" the fun :biggrin2: . Altho his toys definitely look much better. :beerchug:
I had to use my phone for pics. I'll get much better pics later with the camera when I get it together.

Thanks guys. The PO actually told me he had to add about 150 lbs. of weight to it. Duke and I have been discussing making a form and getting a couple of 80 lbs bags of concrete and pour a weight right there on it.

Looks great DWayne! The BRS will handle it a lot better then his 3240 and turf and chain setup.:biggrin2: I know you'll get it all painted up nice and pretty once it warms up.:beer2: It looks like it's pretty well built disc set up.

Here are the two pics from CL. You can get a better idea of what it should look like.

DWayne, that is one heavy-duty tandem disc set up. I can't believe he could pull that at all with a 3240. Are you going to paint it to match your BRS & plow? Looks like we're all gettin ready to do some serious gardening this year.:beerchug:

He did admit he had more of an issue with traction, but he didn't have loaded ags.

My intentions are to paint everything red and the discs black to match the plow and 982. I am going to have to go buy a few wire cups for the angle grinder. Will give me something to do this summer if I get my 128 finished. :beerchug:

Cool disc DWayne. It looks to be well built. I can't wait to see it all painted up behind the BRS.
