Power steering charge help?
 

I am adding a loader to my cub cadet 1250. Yesterday I pulled a power steering system from a cub cadet 3184. I have everything but the charge pump. My 1250 does not have a charge pump. What are my options to power the system?

PS: Spoon feeding is highly encouraged.

Do you mean "ported pump"....??

All hydro's have a "charge pump". This is what supply's the pressure for the Hydro System.

You are correct. I meant ported pump. It looks like I will need to swap my transmission for a ported transmission unless someone has another idea.

You can use any IH Cub Cadet ported pump for the 1250 (ie: one from a 1450, 1650, etc)
