cub cadet 104 steering problem.
 

My friends were using his 104 and the steering stopped working.Everything works but when you turn the wheel the tires don't turn.Has this happened to any of you guys?

Look underneath at the steering box and see if the arm is moving when you turn the steering wheel. If not you may want to look at this rebuild post:

everything works, its just the tires dont turn its really weird.

If the arm on the steering box moves when you turn the wheel, but the wheels don't, the problem should be very obvious. Is the drag link still connected?

yes the drag link turns too.

Well if everything is turning but the wheels look at the steering arm on the top of the left spindle if it's going back and forth when you turn the steering wheel and the wheels are not turning the pin attaching it to the spindle is broken.

:bash2: Show my lack of NF knowledge. I can never remember those things have spirol pins in the steering. I think I am going to put a WF front axle in my nephews 73 and not have to worry about that. :bigthink:

instead of a spriol pin a i put in a nut and bolt works just as good and easier to replace i think.
