Here's what got me started with Cub Cadet
 

its a weed eater it didnt run was missing the starter & sat for years before i got it .I put it on craigslist & some guy called me and asked if i would trade him for a cub cadet 149 .I looked it up on youtube to see what they where & fell in love with them .went out & he drove it up to the truck barley .i think i heard it say "help me " cough cough "help me" .lol & then i took it home & took it apart .

what got me started in cubs was a 1650 ( I came in with style) I bought it at auction. It was clean so I got it for $200. We were going to build a puller until some one came along and offered me $800 for it, Needless to say I took it. Ever sense then I have been a cub chaser!

What got me started was that I bought a home in Virginia. After settling the deal, I walked the property lines and found a poor old 1650 sitting in the woods. I did a little research and found out it wasn't just another little riding lawn mower. Dragged into my workshop and started from there. Still working on it, but I have all the parts I need now. Just waiting to paint some parts before reassembling them. Now I have a 682 (working condition) as well.

What got me started on cubs was a John Deere 55 lawn mower in 7th grade(i think) that was given to me by my uncle. Rebuilt the motor and started lookn around for bigger better options and as i truly liked IH i found the cub cadet. At that time my other uncle had one in his barn and said if you want it come get it. That was all the persuasion i needed, It was a 123. From there i was buying one or two a month for a while until i ended up with 12 at one point, overall ive gone through 14 i think. Its been a great hobby to have and has taught me alot of things. Plus with the work ive done with them for people ive made what ive put into em. Must say these are some of the best things to mess with.
