what's the gap on the spark plugs for the 1980 982
 
i was thinking of putting in a set of autolite 3246 plugs & was woundering the gap for this motor .thanks bob :bigthink:

You gap them at .25 it won't even fire.

I love my autolites! Only plug I use.

My autolites are gaped at .30.

Which engine are you supposed to run a .015" gap because the 2 plugs run in a series electrical circuit!!

.25 and .30 ? Howz bout .025 or .030 ? Quarter inch is a BIG GAP !! :biggrin2:
