snowthrower

I am trying to make a H 42 snowthrower off a 782 onto a 1450, I got the correct pulley, but now the pulley on the thrower is 3 or 4 inches too far forward. I was hopping someone has ran into this before. Thanks for any help Jimmy

Swap throwers

Any one know if his H42 blower off a 782 cub will fit my 1641 Cub? I looked it up and think I need a 451 or maybe a 551 blower. I have a Q42 he wants to trade. I have the 6 in PTO. :bigthink:

Not trying to bring up a old thread, but figured I would post my findings on how to make it work. After hunting for almost a year I finally found a picture of a h42 blower off a quietline, as it was a option, but most were sold for later wide frame tractors. Instead of a regular signal v belt pulley being used, it uses a 3 v pulley with a removable hub. I was able to get both from mcmaster carr, and now just waiting for snow.
