WF Front Axle Questions

I have a 129 front axle that was "chewed" up by the mule drive (improper belt choice by PO). However a 129 axle limits the availability. Besides the other 1x9 series of tractors what other front axles will fit the pivot and spindles?

Furthermore, I'm looking for an axle that may raise the front end slightly - can this be accomplished using the x82 series of front axles or are they virtually the same?

Any additional information on interchangeability between models would be great.

All of the WF and 82 series axle castings up through 1989 are the same, except for the Supers. You could use a front axle from a later 'cyclops' model (i.e. 1641, 1863, 1864) to raise the front slightly, but that could mess up the geometry of your snowthrower and front blade, if you have either of those. Why do you want to raise the front of the tractor?

Thanks for the info on the front axles Matt.

I'm planning on putting some 7-14 ags on the back of the 129 and was hoping to find something to level out the front end for the reason you listed and to fix the other problem as well. I think the difference between the 7-14 and the 26x12x12's are only 1" OD so it shouldn't be that big of a change (height wise).

I wanted to do something different and am planning on running some round fenders off a Power King 1614 and the ags on the rear for a unique look.

Here are the tires I'm thinking about running on the back ...
