K241 crank/rod in a K321 block
This might sound wacko, but I was thinking again, and......I have a nice 107, complete other than the K241 cylinder bore is scored pretty bad. I also have a 14HP block, just rebored with a matching piston/rings, but no crank or rod. I was wondering if I can use the 241 crank in a 14 horse block, with the 14 horse piston? I don't know if the rod length of the 241 is different, or do they make up the difference to the top of the block by changing the piston pin height? I think the answer is "find a 14 horse crank, and buy a new rod," but you never know until you ask.

241 crank is shorter stroke by about 3/8".

So if the 241 crank is 3/8" shorter stroke, either the 241 rod is 3/8" longer, or the 241 piston pin is 3/8" lower on the piston assuming the 241/321 deck heights are the same. If the pin is lower on the piston, I'm SOL, but if the rod of the 241 is 3/8" longer, and will fit the 321 piston pin, I could make a large bore short stroke motor with the parts I have.

The weight of the crank is differant

I think the answer here is to get a K321 crank and rod.
