682 tire question
Can you mount 26x12x12 true powers on stock width 682 rear wheels? I want the big tire on my 682. I am not worried about tire clearance as far as the fenders go, I can raise them. Will the big meats fit on my wheels now? The stock size is 23x10.5x12. Thanks, Jason

Awesome.... Thank you!! Yours is the one that made me look at this closer. I out them on my 1811, but it also had polished Douglas wheels. I think they wer 9 or 10 inches wide. I didn't want to buy those for my everyday mower. I will buy these and stick them on!!

Jaybrd, what size are those tri-ribs on the front? Are those stock 682 front wheels?

They are the Firestone reproductions from Miller Tire on the stock 682 wheels (16-6,5-8's) Chris Westfall has them listed on his site also. They are a bit spendy, but love the look. |

Miller Tire has them listed under tractor fronts, are about the 4th from top I think... |
Jay,
funny I just asked you a similar question in your snowblower thread. So those big meats will fit std 10 inch rims! Well, then I may have to save some pennies for a set! They would look good on the 147R. I have another set of good 10 inch rims that have turf tires on them. Regards, Chris |
