quick question.
other than being ported, wet/dry brake and lines routed differently, is there a difference between a 127 pump and a 1650. how many different variations of their pump did IH make?
Thanks -Randy |
IH used three (3) different versions of the Sundstrand Hydro. There was, non-ported, ported, and the SGT ported pumps. Thus, a ported pump will work in a non-ported application. You just have to cap off, or fabricate a return loop, the lines going to and from the Hydro Spool Valve.

the auto relief valves should be a difference too.... the 1650 should have them and the 127 doesn't, unless replaced.... not necessarily related to what you're asking, but it is a nice feature to have.

Is there a advantage to the auto relief valves? my 149 has manuals but they are shot and I was thinking of putting a set from a 1811 on it if it will work.

If I can add to your question. Can you put a ported pump from 1650 on a 105 and use the hydro spool for hydraulics? Of course there would be some fab work to get everything mounted but will the pump bolt onto the rear end?

YES...You can put a Ported Pump on the NF Cub. Whether you have the room to do all the plumbing might be a difficult task.
