Hi again:

Have any of you seen a one piece oil ring that comes in the aftermarket O-haul kits? I'm putting this k321 back together in the morning and I have never seen a oil ring like this one.

That's odd. The OEM oil ring used to be one piece, but I've never seen an aftermarket set with a one piece oil ring.

i never saw one in a replacement kit, i called the vender and he assured me all was ok. after checking all specs, i put this engine back together and installed it today. all seems fine, but ill wait to give my praise until i put some hours on this engine. full overhaul kit with new piston-rod-rings-wrist pin and seals for 82.00 plus shipping. even came with points and a plug! i cleaned out the carb and installed bushings for the throttle shaft and it runs as new. i will say that the fit and finish of the aftermarket parts was very good! i will post a review of the kit once i see how things go in the next couple of weeks.
