$8 wheel weights
2 Attachment(s)
I have wanted wheel weights for winter esp. A while ago I noticed that a 5 gallon potting containers I had laying around fit into the wheel perfectly . So I took off the wheels and used a soldering iron to open up the matching mounting holes where I put 4 bolts thru to hold to the wheels after welding a fender washer to keep it the right depth. Then filled with equal amounts of a 80#s of concrete
so 37-40# each and not hard to mount as it fits snug in the wheel with out the bolts and the plastic case protects the wheel. I stuck a bolt in the middle to hold while installing /removing I have a steep 6ft hill /dropoff and it goes up it like it like it was on tracks now I need some ags I,m going to try some 23-10.5 on my 7in wheels 128 mtd 9n ferd :bigthink: |
Those are great looking weights.
I have talked to people that achieve the same results spending $8/ week at McDonalds.:biggrin2: This is a lower cost (and probably lower cholesterol) weight addition! |
