Fuel Tank / K301 engine dying Question

Hello,

I have a 123 with a kohler 301. I got a new (used) carb and fuel tank (used) as they were needed. Hooked up the carb and another fuel tank (not the one just bought), and the tractor ran immediately after I cranked it. Only ran it for a few minutes, and of course the carb needs dialed in.

Now, I hook up the used fuel tank and find that the seller sand blasted the iside and outside. I cleaned it out w gasoline to get any remaining grime/sand out. I also noticed a baffle in the tank, which was clogged (w sand from the sandblasting I assume) and then cleaned by the gas.

Anyhow... the engine starts right up and runs for a minute or so and then dies. It starts immediatly if I blow into the gas tank and basically pressurize the line to get fuel into the tank... I will check the fuel tank again for grime, but I realy want to know... can anyone give me a schematic of the baffle inside the tank so I can make sure it just aint gettin clogged? There is fuel in glass bowl. I will also check the fuel cap and make sure that it is venting...

Any other thoughts on this are appreciated.

By the way... this is my first IH cadet. Finally.... the dream is a reality!
