Does a loose throttle shaft cause a motor to rev up and down.:bigthink:

It sure can... sounds like you need a bushing.

Is their suposed to be a bushing here already or is it a place to put one.

That's where i put mine. I think the Hillman part # for the bushing is 58087. If you have a good hardware store nearby that carries Hillman products they should have it. My local Ace hardware has them.
Someone correct me if that # isn't correct

There were no original bushings and yes that is where you will press a bushing into.
