1966 122!
1 Attachment(s)
Hi! My pop has been tinkering with his 1966 122 and recently got it back running smooth! Times have been a little tight so he wanted me to try and figure out the fair market value for it.
It does have some extras and a mod or 2. Mower deck, Plow, and Windbreaker. He added headlights and threw on a John Deere seat when the orignal ripped (I know it's blasphemous) Here's a picture of the little engine that could and did and does again. |
You are in a tough market in PA, seems to be a million of them Cubs for sale up there.:bash2:
With mods, even including just the seat, could put the price in the $300 range. Check out Craig's List Pgh PA for more pricing help. |
:Welcome2:
I've moved your thread to the IH GT section so we can get you a price. Once we get a price you can make a ad in the for sale section of the site. I would pull the cab and ask $250 for it. This is a great time of the year to be listing the cab! Pull the front blade and list it for $100-150. Sell the deck with the 122 for $300. Does the 122 have the hydro lift? If it does it's going to add $200 to the value of the 122. Does it have the cig lighter? Lis t the wheel weights for $50-75. If you do what I've sugested then you'l get $650+. |
That's a nice 122! Like the blade and cab too!

Thanks for the info and compliments! My pop is still out there with it, I don't think he wants to get rid of it! I'll pass on the info.
yeah, the plow has a manual lift and no cig lighter... Thanks Again |

Its going to be hard to easily replace that cub for the price you are probably going to get out of it. On E-bay, about 2 days ago, an IH windbreaker like that went for around $350 or so. These machines, sadly, are worth more apart than they are together. I think that would is a keeper or else you are going to regret it later! :Welcome2:
