Cub 100 help

Hey guys, looking for help with my Cub 100. I ran the tractor two weeks ago and it ran fine. Last weekend, I went to run it and it was running terrible, needed choke to stay running and also had to move the throttle up and down to get it to keep running. It seemed to run OK just idling but once I tried to up the throttle it would die out. I check and found gas was getting to the carb and the spark plug is wet. Now it will just crank and not fire at all. What do I do??
Thank you

It seems you are getting fuel, but no spark. Have you pulled the plug and grounded it to make sure there is no spark? If so then,

Check your coil with a multi meter using this:

Also you might consider replacing your points and condenser if the coil checks out to be ok.

Thanks for the ideas guys i actually found it to be the screws on the carb to be really loose allowing it to run extremely lean, i have set them back to the 2 turns out from closed and that seems to help but it is still popping a little. i guess it need some adjustments. can someone explain how to get these to runn smoothly. thanks

Download this Kohler Service Manual. It has the settings to start with and tells you how to dial the carb in to correct adjustment.
