a little paint....
I brought the new 149 home earlier in the week, and although the paint has been spray bomb redone, to some degree it actually looks decent, and the PO used the correct colors..
except on the rear wheels... Note the bling "chrome" wheels on the rear.. http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6.../ihcc149-7.jpg I dropped by the local farm supply house and picked up a few cans of "cub cadet yellow" and "cadet cadet beige" I had the local tire shop pull the Ag's off and I proceeded to wire wheel the silver paint off, prime and repaint. it looks like it they had pretty decent paint so I have no idea where the idea for the silver came from... :bash2: any ways here's the results. I'll get the Ag's remounted tomorrow morning and then its off to my buddy's shop to do some thing with this god awful exhaust stack.... http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6...0909112210.jpg even threw some yellow on the lugs... don't think that's the original color, but i figured it would look neat. I also touched up the portion of the hub that shows through the wheel center as they were covered in silver also.... http://i85.photobucket.com/albums/k6...0909112212.jpg |
