The higher cost of the "enemy's" color
 

The Mrs. & I took the day & went down to the Minnesota State Fair for a few hours. At the green display was a new & fairly large standard frame tractor with a options sticker & price in the window. After the initial loud gasp from me, I replied loudly "Holy ****!! This icky green paint sure got expensive!!" I know, I know... its a big machine with lots of options. No one else said much which was no matter to me. Never was a fan of that color to begin with.

that's funny.... at the WV state fair there was a big MF dealer setup across from the JD guys. They had a sign made up directly comparing 85HP tractors and showing everyone that the MF was $13K cheaper than the comparable JD w/more options for the money. The JD dealer wasn't too happy to say the least, but all is fair in side by side comparison...
