Well, I'm in Da Club
As .50 cent would say....although this one is a bit different. To everyone that chimed in with their .02 cents worth thank you. It helped me a bunch. I gotta say, it has some go.....even though it's only a 14hp motor it makes that 19.5 in my JD from the box store look like a POS. Anyhow, again thanks a bunch to the price suggestions and all. It doesn't smoke on start up or when you turn it off, runs well. Idol it clear down and it's smooth. Only issues right now is the vibration...not a bunch. I know that the bushings for the motor were changed out about 6 years ago. The tiller looks great, just typical surface rust. The blower looks good although the auger has a few rough patches....like he spent time blowing a rock pile. Anyhow I scored all of this for $1100 which from your feedback makes me think I did alright. Sorry, I think the pix are a bit big but took them in pretty good quality so you can pick out every little ding and scratch .

Looks good I think you got a nice Cub and the essential attachments!!
|
Welcome to the club! That's quite a load you hauled in there...
(and quite a bit of havoc with my browser - had to scroll back and forth to read.) ;) I kind of like those rectangular headlights on a Quietline. It goes nicely with the shape of the tractor. Enjoy your Cub! |
Nice find on the 1450, and implements! :beerchug:

I think did great, fair price for what you got!

CONGRATS and welcome to the world of cubs! Everything looks great! The only problem that I can see is the bottom pulley is broken. That might make your belt wear out faster. I think Rich Patton at Patton acres has one in stock. I would call or email him his banner is at the top of every page. Other then that it looks great and you did good on the price too!

Thanks
Yea Methos...thanks again for all your input. Really helped...I have to say, it's amazing to hop on these and feel the power they are throwing out. It'll definitly pull that green thing of mine around the yard without thinking twice. Not sure if I'll get to any paint work on it this year...probably not but i'll give it a workout this winter if we get snow....:-). Oh and again, sorry the pictures were so big causing the scroll to read everything....
