147 elect. lift switch ?
 

Well I got my wire harness, but my question is on the switch. While going from the center up, it's spring loaded, and when I let go it goes back to center, but when I go down it stays there. Is that right or is there a spring that's bad in the down?
If it's right, what stops it when it bottoms out?

Mine returns to center from up and down

Are there 2 different styles of switches that could be found on the 147? Mine is the one in the attached photo. I swear I've seen another style that looks more like an old trash compactor knob that you rotate left or right to get the up and down action.
