Steering gear commonality

Met a guy who needs a steering column for his CC100. I have 3 or 4 that came with a bunch of parts that I bought, my question is, are all the narrow frame ones the same and the wide frames the same or all they all the same for all of them except the original. I am going to look it up in the parts books tomorrow, but thought someone would know off the top of thier head. Thanks

mesure them the shorter ones are narrow frame and the longer ones are for wide frame.

They are all the same except the original is different, the only difference is if you put a replacement column in it will be taller. If you put a original replacement back in it will be the same length.

I think there are at least 3 or 4 different lengths from 70 to 82 series. A 100 has a longer steering column than a 104, and both are NF tractors. I'm also fairly certain the 1x8/9/QL and 82 series are different, and different from either the 70/71/72/73/100 and the other NF models...

Thanks everyone, I measured and I have 2 different lengths, and the narrow frame one is shorter and has like a collar around the top of it. Now I can help another new CC100 owner. He is new to the addition and I just want to help him out. I told him about this website so hopefully he will join soon. Thanks again for everyone's help
