1450 K321 balance gears removal

Hi,

I would like to remove balance gears from K321 engine. Do I need to take crank out to get gears off? Or can I remove balance gears with crank in engine?

Hey terkaa
You should be able to remove them without taking the crank out.
You will have to rotate the crank till you find the best spot to slide them off of the shafts.

Thank you very much for information. I will toss these and hopefully get rid of knocking noise inside engine.
