CC 1450 PTO bearing
Hi,
i've got a perfectly good PTO but the bearing is starting to make noises and does not turn as easy as it should. I've got it in the vise and can see the snap ring in the front ... but am having trouble removing it. Anybody have experiance w/ this... ie: what tool and technique did you use to get this darn thing out .... any advise would be grand... rgds, Bryan |
Yup. Snap ring pliers.

snap ring
Mine has no holes in it to bring the ends together ... looks like you need to dig one end out somehow.
Do these usually have interior snap rings w/ the holes in either end? B. |
Just dig one end out with a screwdriver then work your way around.
