Cub 149 Hydro Fan Question

Hello All,
I want to replace the hydro fan. I have removed the 2 bolts out of the back and drove the pin out of the front. What else need's to be done so the shaft will come out?
Thanks,
Rick

Rick you have to unbolt the motor and slide it forward so the shaft can come out. Go to the tech section of the site and download the manuals for your cub or click on our site sponser Binder Books and purchase a copy of your manuals so you'll have a hard copy.

With my 149 I unbolted the rag joint in the rear and the four bolts that attach the drive hub and it came out without sliding the motor

Glad you posted the question. I'm doing mine later in the week.

Mine doesn't have any blades, which way does it move air. Does it blow air over the hydro or suck air over the hydro

The fan blows air over the hydro.

My fan blades

My fan blades are about the size of a golf ball, I just finished swaping a rear lift onto this 149, and it looks like the lift cylinder linkage could come in contact with the fan blades, maybe that's why mine are so small. Mine aren't broken but worn to a point on all the blades.
