Steering on my new LTX1040
 

I have a new LTX 1040 and I love it but when I turn it sharp it locks up and I have to jerk it very hard to recover from the turn, is this normal? I checked the manual and it showed a drag link and did find two tabs that stop the turning when they hit the axle. The build date on my unit is 4/2011.
My 1040 seems to use a lot of fuel, there is no smoke and it runs very nice no smell of gas I was hoping to drive it to Florida to visit my son but with the price of gas it might cost me $34,242.72 one way but it sure would be fun, ha ha! I have to go I think my grass has grown .000001 of an inch need to keep up with it.
