FNG in Michigan
First time user and dont really know if Im doing this whole thread thing correct or not:BangPC:
I live in Michigan and bought a 1989 1872 from a co worker about 5 yrs ago and now it seems as though that every time I turn around its another $200.00 - $400.00 to keep this thing going. I mow approx 4 acres every week and just love my Cub when its running. My latest issue is the PTO not wanting to stay engauged, Ive spent the $47.00 on a new switch and still no luck. any suggestions??????????????:bash2::bash2::bash2: |

Check for either a short in the safety switch (seat) or incorrect air gap in the pto clutch.

Clean your ground connections, and clean the connections on the reverse relay. If that didn't help, check out the relay with a multimeter.
