talk to me about seats please

What can you tell me to help me figure out about getting new seats. The 125 has a pretty ratty seat on it that I wouldn't mind finding a cover for w/ new padding if that is an inexpensive attractive option.
I love Captmax's seat but I think it may be a bit spendy for now just by looking at it.

The 129 has a new seat on it but my pasture is hilly and bumpy and the seat is super slippery. I feel like I'm riding motocross out there. I am pretty much holding myself up off the seat sometime just trying to stay on. Not going that fast either.

any option on seating you can give me or figuring out what out there will fit mine would be super. Something for the 129 w/ arm rests would be great but might be too spendy as well.
Thanks a ton, Mike

Mike,
I see you have the original seat on the 125.I like them but when backing up the edge of the fiberglass pan digs into your thigh.Sell the seat pan,and use the money for a down payment on a nice seat that Case IH dealers have ,they are around $80.00
That rrrrrubber seat on the 102 is okay, but if your have a big butt it will not work, and there are no springs on it to absorb rough terrain
Now then, the one on your 129 is very comfy, does it have the option to mount armrest?
if so that will keep you on the seat better than one without.

Thanks for the tips. I'm a buck50 soaking wet and that is not all butt weight. So the seat size I think would not be an issue. I would like to see the seat (case) you speak of though. Can you link me to a picture of one or describe a way to find it? I will check on the 129 seat tomorrow. I am assuming if I can mount arm rests on it there will be holes in the back?

No springs on the 125 seat either. That would be nice if I could rig up something underneath to absorb some of those bumps. I take it pretty easy on the rough terrain w/ that one though. The sound of the loader clanging around makes me feel uneasy about the strain it's putting on the parts.

A search for case ih seat came up w/ this stuff.

no $80 seat though. And I have no way of knowing if those covers would work.

I am going to recover mine with some heavy weight boat vinal. using spray insulating foam to glue it to the seat maybe a few wrinkles but who cares
