Hello from Utah
 

I've lurked here for several weeks, but I recently bought a Model 102, and want to learn as much as I can.

I work for the Army at Tooele Army Depot--about 35 miles west of Salt Lake City. I'm an equipment specialist, but tend to be the jack-of-all-trades--market research for new equipment, writing operating manuals, preparing bids and briefings, etc.

I'm married--going on 33 years. I have 6 children and 7 grand children.

I served in the Navy from 1971-1973 with a couple more years in the reserves, and in the Army from 1983 to 1989.

I enjoy tinkering with mechanical things, shooting, reloading, reading, and play a euphonium (similar to a baritone) in our community band. I also hold an Extra Class Amateur Radio License, though I haven't been too active lately.

I look forward to being a part of the forum.
