1967 cub cadet 71 rarest cub out there?

After doing some research I have realized that one of my cubs is a 67' model 71. Further research indicates that 3867 were made that year http://tractors.wikia.com/wiki/Inter...l_Cub_Cadet_71
would this be considered a rare model. I was thinking about getting rid of it, I bought it for all of the implements that came with it for my 123 and 125.

Looking for a few opinions if I should restore it. I do have 2 ahead of it if I decide to keep it. The 123 is first and then the 125.

Sure Brad. You should get rid of it ASAP. Keep the 123, because that was the BEST CUB CADET that IH ever made. Just send your 71 and 125 to my address in Indiana!!!!:biggrin2::biggrin2:

Sometimes rare is in the eye of the beholder. In my book they are all rare, because there are no cubs in my area!!

There were 11,072 model 71's built as per Oscar Will's book. If I remember the three lowest production models are the 800, 169 and the 126.

I understand the production number thing but I was was wondering production number for each specific year. Kind of like the have made millions of corvette's but only few of the 1963 split window corvettes. I know I am comparing apples to oranges but was just looking for an idea. It's a nice little tractor but would get rid of it because to have 3 is a little too much. I would pick up an Original though, just missed one last week for 400 dollars. I agree that the 123 is the best tractor they made, it's my personal favorite.
