Shure Grow planter - Cole

I just picked up this planter on Ebay. It was only $60 with four seed plates, note how similar the seed bin and plates are to Brinly:biggrin2: It was made by Cole so it should be a decent planter.

I will most likely add a sleeve hitch to it that clamps on so I can either push it or pull it with a Cub if I have a lot to do. I've had a couple of Brinly planters over the years and sold them to fund other projects:bash2: This isn't a Brinly but it should be better than the Earthway I'm using now.

I believe Cole made those planters for Brinly. I could be wrong, but I think they did.

Yes Cole did make them for Brinly (at least for a while) which is why I posted it. I thought it was interesting that the casting looks the same as the one made for Brinly. The plates are probably the same style as well, the auction just ended yesterday so it will probably be a week or two before it gets here.

The odd thing is the frame and wheels of this one looks more similar to the David Bradley planters sold through Sears. I had one of those a long time ago and it worked quite well but I sold it to buy something else. I hope it gets here before I plant the entire garden, if not I'll have it for next year.
