Dang you guys

Dang you guys, you got me looking for these yellow things. I saw them and couldn't resist. The price seemed right even though I don't know what the value of things are, heck I don't even know what model they are. The one by the wood pile has no motor, the one in the shed runs and mows fine, only came with a mower deck. Hoods have been painted over so there are no model #s, same with serial #s, will have to pick the paint off to see them. So..., what did I buy, and mabe estement on the value, and he thinks he has a rear end up in the weeds he's going to look for it.

My best guess is that the top one is a 104 and the bottom picture is of a 122, but I'm not for certain. As far as value, whatever a person is willing to give for one is what it is worth. I'm sure you will give them the TLC that they need and they will give you years of fun and service in return!!!

Top one is a 106 or 126. Bottom one is a 102 or 122.

I agree with Jeff. A 1x6 by woodpile, and a 1x2 mower.
|
How would I find out what the models are? Would the serial #s tell the models?
|
Jeff is rightand the serial numbers will tell you what model it is.

Around here a good running mowing 1x2 would probably bring about $400. The 1x6 in that condition would be $100 or less. |
I have the serial #'s, but can't find a link on here to find anything out about them. The running one with the mower deck is a 12 hp, ser# 185720, the one by the wood pile is hard to read, pretty beat up, but thsi is what I think it is:2050037U318795, not real sure of the 7 after the 3 or the 9 after the 7. Both the ser# tags were on the rear ends. It has disk brakes and a storage compartment under the seat if that helps. I know where a motor is that needs a head and other parts, not sure what size it is, what do you think will fit into the one by the wood pile?
And as always, thanks |
Any Kohler 12 hp. or less should fit in the one without a motor.
The frame is not wide enough for a flywheel any bigger than a 12 hp. :IH Trusted Hand: |
Thanks, the motor I saw at a freinds house has no head on it, but the piston is at TDC and both valves were closed, so hopefully the walls are ok. It was stored inside a building. It had other junk around it and couldn't tell much more other than it had a flywheel on it.
